I am passionate about storytelling and clearly communicating ideas and information. Strong communication is key in modern organizations, helping to build awareness and reputation of brands and products.
In my fiction and poetic pursuits and in other arts like music and filmmaking, I like to let my inner creative child take flight. As a Content Works producer for Postmedia, I oversee stories, videos and infographics in print and digital platforms for publications including: the Windsor Star, London Free Press, National Post, Ottawa Citizen, Montreal Gazette and more.
I have coordinated special sections and programs working with community partners in Windsor and Essex County including: Goodfellows, Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce, War of 1812 Bicentennial Committee, Downtown Windsor BIA, Windsor and District Labour Council, Windsor-Essex Association for Volunteer Administration, City of Windsor and more.
I am a multiple award winner in various newspaper competitions including:
- Inland Press Association’s Newspaper Special Sections Networks competitions (1998-2002)
- Vancouver Press Club Foundation award winner (1992)
- B.C. and Yukon Community Newspapers Association award winner (1991)
- Jack Webster Award of Distinction award winner (1991).
